It's always pretty inevitable that when you put your predictions out into the public domain they are destined to nosedive into oblivion, that seems to be the case with M3 football selections. Last season they were nicely tucked away on this blog, which gets updated about once a year and probably read about once a year as well, this season I've been sending them over to Cassini at Green-All-Over. Predictably (I use that word very loosely given the current sorry state of affairs) I am now rock bottom of Cassini's tipster league and my face is Red-All-Over, do you see what I did there ?
So much for last Fridays posting about the code being wrong and reworking it for the weekend just gone fixtures, I came up with 6 selections and they all failed! Ah well, plenty of time left this season so we'll persevere and see where we end up. On the plus side - the only way is up, as Yazz and her Plastic Population would of said, sorry but that song will now be bouncing around your head for the rest of the day, it will do if you're over 35 anyway.
Thats the bad stuff out the way so lets now focus on the positive, Brandt Snedeker. Good to see he won the Tour Championship over the weekend and I was on him at 50's on Betfair as well as some Top 4 money (odds of 8'ish I think off the top of my head). Obviously the profit was whittled away a little as I was also on four others at Each Way but it was still a big win and very welcome at that. If I really want to be picky then I could also have a little moan that Bubba Watson could only finish tied for 5th place and because of the small number of competitors only the top 4 places were paid out. I was also a little dismayed with myself as I couldn't leave the Snedeker bet alone and greened up (scratch on the rest of the field) at Evens, hindsight is a wonderful (especially where betting is concerned).
Will update the blog later this week with some Ryder Cup predictions and also maybe some M3 Football Selections, oh and the updated ROI of the systems as well.
