I've neglected the pre race horse market trading recently so it's been good to get back into them over the last couple of evenings. Ideally I'd like 2 (or even 3!) screens to trade properly as well as a proper desk, comfy chair, keyboard, mouse etc. So perched on the sofa with a laptop balanced on your lap for a whole evening is not the ideal trading setup, even so, I have still brought in a decent enough profit on the races I managed to trade on.
I also managed to get on some correct score laying on some of the Champion League qualifier action with the Arsenal and Benfica games having the relevant goals needed. I spent some time yesterday examining past performance and noticed that laying the Half Time correct score was losing me money, something I'd been suspicious of but with relatively low odds it was a market I found myself attracted to as some games showed promise of a first half goal or two. So I have now abandoned that market and I concentrate purely on laying the Full Time correct score, my Return On Investment for that market for August is 7.62%, if I include laying the Half Time correct score market then that drops down to a return of 4.08%. Not massive returns by any means but hopefully its the edge we all crave and search for!
