Well another month ends....The in play football app had a flying day to finish with showing a £100 profit by the end of the day, it ended month down just £20 which I'm happy enough with. It had a very poor beginning with losses day after day so to claw it back to almost level is satisyfing enough for me.
The horses have had a poor month, down about £300. I blame my staking for this as I increased my stake per point when my bank looked healthy only to then go on a bad run (coupled with my in play football app bad run) and having to revert back to my original stake per point. If you are going to follow points staking then you need to stick to your stakes and have enough in the back to cover the losing runs. I thought 100 points was enough but given the amount of services I'm using now this was not enough. I'm sticking to small stakes now per point and wont think about increasing it again until my bank hits 200 points. I'm also being more selective in the bets I do, some services come up with 2 or 3 point win only bets and these have proved expensive so I'm dropping them.
I layed Susan Boyle Saturday night, not something to like to admit to.....it was a close run thing in the Britains Got Talent final but her price seemed to low @ 1.7 and she was in the last two before bowing out in second spot.
Busy busy busy....
I know the feeling about increasing your stakes when your balance looks healthy! It's one of the disciplines of betting I guess. Nowadays I set a limit at the start of each month, on what my maximum stake on each bet will be. If I start to slip up or go on a bad run then quickly lower the stakes until I find a bit of form again. Before this I used to try and "keep the faith" if you will, and keep the stakes the same in hope of getting a big result, which doesn't work! Good luck in the future, I always keep an eye on your blog! Adam.
