Nothing much new to add today, in play football app made £28 last night, all adds up.

Here's todays Powerstats, bit concerned about all the Scottish ones it's picked out. I'm splitting the selections and making two multiples of 5 in each for my Multiples selections.

November 28th

What can I say ? Totally gutted after conceding 2 goals in the last 6 mins last night to end up drawing 2-2. Fantastic game and atmosphere and the players can hold their heads up high, a fine performance. Still, they say every cloud has a silver lining so with 15 minutes left, Pompey 2-0 up and AC Milan bringing on the likes of Seedorf and Ronaldhino I laid them at 1.05 for a liability of £25. So even though I walked out feeling like I'd been mugged, I still managed an extra £500 into the Betfair account coffers. We have a habit of conceding late goals at the moment so the 1.05 was well worth taking on.

So if I'd been offered a 2-2 draw before the game I'd have taken it without a second thought, if I'd been offered a 2-2 draw before the game plus £500 in the back pocket I'd of bitten your arm off :o)

The £500 pays for a few extra Christmas presents as well as next weeks jolly in Wolfsburg :o)

Not much other news, the DB7 System is now consigned to a major overhaul in the garage, not quite at the breakers yard just yet but I'm not sure if and when it'll be back out on the road. Greyhound betting is also still on hold, I'm running through all the data but can't seem to find any 'edge' with it.

There are currently some excellent posts and comments going on at Green All Over to do with value. John also has a say about a value as well, although he comes across more like a bitter and twisted old fool with nothing much better to do with his time ;o)

Should be plenty of powerstats this weekend, will post them as soon as I've done them.

November 26th

That was a get out of jail type feeling last night as both Millwall and Oldham came good with goals in the 90th and 89th minute to win their games respectively! Normally late goals are a killer for me but it's nice when they come in for the powerstats. Still a losing evening but nothing major:

Running Multiples powerstats +61 points (4 points on each Double selection Multiple)

The DB7 System ran into problems yesterday and retired back into the garage for more tweaking. Only a small loss of £16 so we'll see how today goes, my horse racing account is going to look quite unhealthy though this month....!

Nothing much else to add, busy day today. Pretty sure there's no powerstats for tonight but I'll have a quick check later.

Poor showing on my part keeping the blog up to date! Too busy counting the cash from the weekend is my excuse :o)

Where do I begin ? Well if you're sitting comfortably.....

I don't think I've ever had two weekends of such extremes with regards betting results. Weekend before last was my worst ever on Betfair but the weekend just gone made up for it, weird results. I came very close to lowering my stakes for my in play football app as my funds were getting a bit low but I stuck with it and it paid off handsomely. Friday pulled in £120, Saturday (thanks to the freaky results!) pulled in £750, Sunday lost £150 and last night added a further £140 to the pot, so £860 profit in total over the course of the weekend, much better.

The DB7 system went into the garage over the weekend for major overhaul and an engine rebuild. It came out yesterday for a test drive and pulled in a whopping £11, well that's a wheel nut bought anyway :o)

Powerstats finally had the sort of weekend that I've been waiting for with it. Only a couple of Scottish results let me down, would of been a nice lottery style win if they'd come in as well. The Doubles paid out with a tasty return which puts that account nicely into profit.

Greyhound betting is currently on hold at the moment. I've downloaded all the data and formatted it into a single text file (486Mb!). I'm now running a few scripts through it trying various staking plans, some horrendous losses appear though with loss recovery systems! How Man Of Mystery managed to make such good profits without the bank blowing is mind boggling to me, he really lives up to his name :o) Which reminds me, I must sign up for the competition he's got running on there.

November 19th

DB7 made a £20 profit yesterday laying to 87% of Betfair SP. Predicted profit was £34 though. I'm recording all this stuff as we go along as I know it's not a short term strategy.

Hope you all piled into the mighty Torquay last night at 1.28 ? :o) No, neither did I! They romped home 4-1 as predicted, tipping 1.28 winners ? I should get a job at Racing Post :o)

Greyhounds made a handy £15 yesterday. The staking scares me though so I've spent all morning downloading the Betfair data for the last year to find out about runs of long odds winners, I need to be convinced in my mind before I risk to much cash with it :o)

Thanks for the comment Man Of Mystery! Nice to see someone taking an interest in this stuff! The app is handcoded by my own fair hands, so if it all goes wrong I have only myself to blame....

November 18th

Quick post today, nothing much to update.

DB7 layed to 85% SP yesterday, lost £70 though. Tweaked it again and lowered stakes right down. Will update on it tomorrow.

In Play football app made a blinding recovery with a £20 profit last night :o) Yes, I am in a sarcastic mood....!

With my interest now at an all time low in horses and football betting I've ventured into unchartered territory, yes Greyhound Racing. Inspired by Man Of Mystery at Juicestorm the time has come to plunder those markets with an aggresive staking recovery plan, will it all end in tears and hissy fits ? Very probably.

No powerstats tonight but if you fancy buying money then Torquay at home to Lewes is like finding money in the street at 1.26, you won't find a more sure thing ;o)

November 17th

I wasn't actually going to post today, was going to take a break. Took another hammering yesterday with the in play football app to the tune of £320. A nauseating £840 loss over the weekend, left me feeling pretty hacked off with this whole betting thing. To be honest I started thinking whether value really was all I crack it up to be, I know others don't agree. I started to think maybe I should just lump on the next favourite when they go a goal down or it's still 0-0 at half time, and if that fails reload and double up on the next one. Pretty much every game over the weekend went the way of the favs, they either piled in a load of goals or waited till late'ish in the game to win 1-0, both scenarios are killers for me.

I'll persevere though, the app is now down £250'ish since the start of the month so time for it to turn round but coupled with it making a loss last month there are dark thoughts in the back of my mind that maybe it's run it's course now. I can't remember the last time it had an outstanding weekend.

So it's all pretty bleak for me at the moment. I've reworked the DB7 system (again). It's now just laying the one horse so we'll see how that goes. It had a good weekend though with a profit of £70.

Powerstats came unstuck yesterday with Blackpool losing 1-3 at home to Preston despite being 1-0 up at half time.

Been a crap week for me betting, in fact the last couple of months have been one step forward and two steps back. Had high hopes for this season but its not all going to plan.
